South Solon area has:

1. Downtown Solon, Solon City Hall, Solon Community Center and Solon Public Library.
2. More traffic volume.
3. Flat topography.
4. Grantwood Golf Course.
5. Parkside Elementary School, Roxbury Elementary School, Orchard Middle School, Solon Middle School and Solon High School.
6. Industrial/office area straddling Cochran Road.  Check out a list of Top Employers in the City of  Solon.
7. Large power transmission lines and towers.
8. Cuyahoga Regional Landfill off of Cochran Road and the closed BFI Glenwillow Landfill on Pettibone Road which continues towards Twinsburg.
